Kinemaster template download method:

Can kinemaster export a video in the background

hey everybody its Patti McCann here and

if you like the look of that footage I

was just showing you then stick around

because I'm going to be going through

this edit and showing you exactly how I

created each of the cool elements in

this video to take boring old footage

like this and turn it into an epic

mountain bike video like this when

you're out there always wear your helmet

and your kneepads and be safe so you

don't want to suck it and come off and

see you next time so today I'm going to

be working on my iPad and editing

exclusively with Kiner master for iOS

but of course if you're on an Android

device that's fine

you can jump into your Android and the

software works pretty much exactly the

same because I'm covering a fair bit of

ground in this tutorial we'll pop some

hot links in the description below so

you can jump straight to the bits that

interest you most

so let's punch in and get this thing

going

so there's a section in the footage that

I shot where we transition from been

riding towards the camera to been riding

away from the camera and it was a little

bit of a hard cut so I looked around for

an effect and look what I did to cover

that kinda there we go we've got some

notes flying in from the left-hand side

let me quickly show you how I added

those click into overlay and this is the

effect here to get it you need to go

into the asset store now you do need to

be a paid subscriber to get access to

this particular effect there's heaps of

effects in here that you can access even

if you're a free user so that's cool

scroll down here it's called make it

rain there it is there and you just

click on the button to install that look

at this fiery shape so wonder what

that's all about

click on there download it's it's really

as simple as that everything's built in

and then once it's done its download

thing and installed you can cut out of

this section here and it actually

appears in your various assets under

overlay so we had to make it rain one I

chose the one from the left I think and

it comes in just pretty much like this

we can click and drag that across ok and

then scale it up and then you can see

here we've got extra money so plenty of

money with the overlay there now what

else have we got along here I just

wanted to make sure that people

understand that you can't actually

really hurt yourself jumping your

mountain bike or whatever and

potentially coming a cropper so make

sure you wear a helmet that's a really

important point so I went searching

again in the overlay and there are these

are react Tunes and this one here is the

one that I used you can resize these

things there

sort of got a clear background you can

see there it is there exactly all right

but it wasn't quite good enough for me

to have just that by itself I wanted to

also make it sort of just do something a

bit different when it disappeared so as

you can see here it it kind of has this

little cloud shape and then it

disappears well that's another react

tomb so what I did just bring this along

here so we can see I've got that one

there going here and under here I'm

pretty sure it was a react team maybe it

was this is the one voxel nation all

right say voxel nation scale it up put

it over the top and just sort of mess

around with the timing until it actually

appears to take the other one with it

which it's not doing just yet so let's

see if that no go back the other way

maybe about there and BAM away we go so

this next section of the footage has a

little effect on it and I just want to

show you that real quick so that you

know what it is that I did and where I

got it from so the footage goes from

here and I was actually holding my

camera on a tripod and I basically ran

after Ben as he came down around this

corner this is me on foot just running

after him and then he does his big jump

and then I get here and I Lord check

this out I literally jumped myself then

as you can see the footage goes a bit

sort of kaput after that so we only

really want this little section here

just before things get a bit wobbly so

we can trim to the right by clicking

here

and now we'll come back here I actually

only want this little section from about here I think and we'll trim to the leftt the timeline so now we've got aw workableclip what are we going to do well

as it gets - just here okay I'm going to

give that a little cut let's just split

that I'm gonna change the speed of the

first clip I'm actually gonna make that

real time so that's just gonna go a

little bit quicker okay so he's gonna

tear around here and then slow motion

here and when it hits the slow motion I

kind of want those cool speed lines so

if we click on to layer and we click not

on to effect as you might imagine but

actually into overlay there's a bunch of

different things here including speed

lines and just as by the way you can

click on the store and you can actually

go into the kinemathek a set store and

add all these really cool overlays

there's a bunch of different stuff here

and we'll explore some of those in

another tutorial but for right now I've

actually downloaded speed lines and

we've got a few different versions we've

got this one which I don't want but the

one that I do want is this one here okay

so that's basically the effect there if

I just play this back and the only thing

is two things one it's a little strong

so I'm just going to click on here and

I'm going to change the opacity and just

sort of bring that down a little bit

just so it's not quite so strong and the

other thing that I'm going to do is if

you just listen you can hear maybe a bit

of wind as I'm running so we don't want

that sound so if I go over here and I

click on the mixer I can actually drop

that sound down altogether so there's

one other little section in the video

where I used a filter which I just want

to quickly show you so that you

understand how I got it and why I used

it so the section is just about here let

me show you

I climbed a tree to get this shot I had

the phone on a tripod and it was kind of

extended out over the top of the jump

and you can kind of see here we go this

is the footage I got so clamoring

that's it right there as simple as that

but yeah you get the idea so filters can

be used to distract and enhance your

footage and this here was really
